FRAMPTON - First Hen we had ... a 'silkie' breed hatched from an egg, very friendly and was our favourite. As time went on Frampton turned out to be a Rooster (Roo) so unfortunately we had to re-home him. We have fond memories of Frampton, and hope he is happy in his new home with hens just like him.

Queenie, she is the boss but doesn't show it unless challenged by Tabasco, Queenie is a Cream Legbar Hen, and lays the largest eggs, with a lovely blue shell.
She has an amazing comb on her head and loves to come to the back door for treets. Queenie is very greedy, but very loveable.
She loves corn

Tabasco, this is our Vorwerk hen, a German breed of hen, she is the silent assassin, and will soon sort out any hens eating too much food or any hen who's in her way. Strong willed, feisty, and a very good forager for grubs snails and worms. She shows the other hens how to break open a snail shell quick sharp! (Tack...tack tack!)
Our garden should be slug and snail free with these guardians watching over it. Mind you ... I have had a few casualties as far as my tulips go ... apparently there very tasty !
Tobasco is the clever one.
She loves blueberries.
